I need your advice and help... I have to upgrade my bios to migrate from NT4 SP6 to windows 2000.I have my new bios update floppy disk for 2000.And here is the problem: My computer boots from NTFS partition,I have another partition fat32.When I boot with this bios disk,screen hangs telling 'starting msdos'but nothing happens of course.I know my computer doesnot have msdos boot option at startup. So could you please guide me?How can I overcome this situation?

You need to have a dos boot disk and then copy the bios info on that disk. You will also need the bios flash program on the disk to. I would suggest have the computer hooked up to a UPS when flashing the bios. You can make a boot disk from any 95 or 98 machine. If you don't have access to one let me know.
