Hello everyone!!!
Look, today I got Windows NT 3.5 and I need one Setup disk!!!
I ran WINNT32.EXE to make the 3 disks manually, but I need another one that I don't know where 2 get!!!
It said something about an MS-DOS portion of Setup that I was supposed to do before the one with the 3 disks... (it told me this when it got to formatting the hard drive)
Does anyone have this disk???
Thanx all!!! ;)

PS: I'm installing WinNT on a virtual machine using Virtual PC 2004...

El-Trucha you sure are a busy rascal!

You don't need a diskette. The message refers to not finding the boot partition so it can alter it to point to itself. It wants to modify the Master Boot Record.

Clearly the virtual program isn't feeding NT3.51 [ah fond memories] the right info.

Don't forget this is before NT's vfat of 4gig. Its looking for a fat16 partition. Got one?

Haha!! what do u mean with a "busy rascal"??? :)
No...I read on the Internet on some site how 2 fix this...I had to delete one file or change it...IT WORKED!!!
But, when it got to ask me for the CD, I put in the CD and it didn't work...it just came with the i386 folder on it...
Thanks 4 answering my question anyways... :)

Busy rascal is a good thing :-)

The i386 folder contains everything. If you knew what file it wants you could look/uncompress it from the i386 folder and on to a floppy disk.
