Comment:
My machine is a NT workstation and my user account belong to DI domain an I want to map to a Network drive which is in the DO domain, the administrator of the other domain give me an account to access the shared resource, but I get the message: User don't belong or password wrong. However if I do the same operation from a Windows 98 machine I can map to the network drive. If someone can help me.

You are talking about two different domains. The usual way to allow a user to access a shared folder on another domain is to establish a Trust relationship where the DO domain trusts users from the DI domain. He would then be able to add the global group you belong with to a local group on the other domain and assign permissions for you to access that folder.
The reason that you can access it from a Windows 98 machine is that they don't actually belong to any domain, they just can browse domains and you logged on with the account he made for you. When you logged on from your workstation you were logging on from your domain but with the account he made in the other domain and without the Trust in place, no connection can be made.
