Hi all, are anyone know how to set up windows NT so I can use my email?
right now I can't use my email at all whether it is hotmail or yahoo eventhough I still able to browse the internet.my networking set up is I have 1 Windows NT PC and 1 Windows 2000 PC both connected to internet by using a router that connected to cable modem. my Windows 2000 PC is fine(both email and browsing works perfectly) but my NT can only browsing but not emailing.
I heard this somewhere that under networking windows NT need to be setup to enable emailing.
Can someone help me with this, thank you very much.

what are you using for a email client on NT?
Outlook or outlook express?since you have internet access its the email client configuration you need. Should be simple to match it to the settings that work in W2K

thx for the reply wanderer, my email client is outlook express. Do you have any idea on how to configure it so I can check my hotmail and yahoo email account? and why does NT's email client need to be configured while windows 2000 doesn't anyway?(I'm kinda real newbie about this)
Thanks a lot.

all email clients need to be configured. That configuration involves ISP settings for Pop3 and SMTP [incoming and outgoing mail]settings. Then you have your account and password setting. This is where you configure for hotmail or yahoo mail. Start at Tool and Accounts in OE.
