i have win nt on my computer but i am not connected to a network. i want to replace it with win 98. i have win 98 on a cd, but i don't know how to overwrite win nt and install win 98.

Reply:

1. Boot the computer from the Win98 boot disk.
2. Type FDISK
3. Delete NON-DOS (NTFS) partition
4. Create DOS partition(s)
5. Set the primary DOS partition active
6. Boot from the Win98 boot disk
7. Format the partiton(s)
8. Install Win98 from your CD
