How do I remove the Supervisor Password under Internet Options in the Control Panel. I set the password and have forgotten it.

Can you try to disable the Content Advisor...
Here is what I got with Microsoft Internet Explorer Help
_____________________________________________
To enable Content Advisor and set limitsClick Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click the Internet Options icon.
Click the Content tab.
In the Content Advisor area, click Enable.
If you've already enabled Content Advisor, click Settings, and then type the supervisor password.Click a category in the list, and then drag the slider to set the limits you want to use.
Repeat this process for each category you want to limit, and then click OK.
If a supervisor password has not already been set up for your computer, you are prompted to create one.

You might try and boot into safe mode and go to start find and do a search for *.pwl and delete all files with that extentsion. then go into content advisor and create your own password. then boot back into the operating system and you should now have control over what you view.

Make sure IE is closed
hkey local machine/software/microsoft/windows/current version/policies/ratings and delete the "key" value.. this should change the password to a null value
exit regedit. go back into ie, goto options, security, disable ratings.. it should prompt to enter in and confirm a new password.
Always Back up the registry before you do this..

Yes!!! Do what "STUART" says above.
Worked for me anyways! Excellent advice!
I spent hours looking for this!
It's easy, even if you're a novice...
Do a 'find files' search in WINDOWS Explorer to find REGEDIT...click on regedit.exe once found.
Follow the path that STUART suggests above...**WARNING** Be careful in regedit although you can reset. (See HELP in regedit)
Right click the 'KEY' entry...you should get
small menu...= modify - delete - rename
Play it safe and RENAME 'KEY' entry to something else.
Go back to Internet Options/content and hey presto...it prompts for NEW Password!
Thank God!
Well done Stuart!Regards James.
