how to install win nt 4.0

hi i want to install WIN NT 4.0 on my pc my c drive is FAT16 and other drive are fat32 but when i install winnt 4.0 during setup when i select c drive the error occur that this prtition is damage or unformated but i already format c: by win98 cd to fat16 now what i do to install WIN NT 4.0 plzzzz help me iam wating 4 urs reply bye

hi when i select c: as drive on which i want to install winnt4.0 at that time there is no option to format it so i format it by canceling the setup and format c: by win98 cd but when i again run setup on winnt 4.0 then again on selecting c: message came that its not formated or its damage now tell me what i do or tell me if i format my e: drive can i get back my data on e: by any software bye

You do not want to format e: or you will wipe out 98. Just ignore the message and select the 2gig c: [first partition] for install.
NT does not understand fat32 which is why you get the message.

Only in your dreams Einstein can NT be installed on fat32. It takes 3rd party software for NT to even read a fat32 partition.
