How do I enable dhcp client in a NT machine? And how do I see the irq number for a particular device?

Use the resources tab in NT diags to see IRQ settings.

DHCP client should start automatically if TCP/IP is installed.Otherwise you can start it from services.

To use DHCP go to Network-Protocols-select TCP/IP-choose properties-choose obtain address from DHCP server.

if this is not what you are after explain more.

You have to be using NT Server and set up DHCP in Server Management, and specify the range of IP's you want to DHCP to support...
