My question is,
1. whether we can disable the ftp from the browser (e.q ie, netscape, mosaic etc)
2. and how to disable it?

You dont use clients to obtain security.
You MUST secure at the server end.
You could however restrict outgoing ports
on each machine.

this mean that if i disable the outgoing ftp ports fr the server then any client won't be able to access either from browser or ftp client, is it ..?
