Boot from floppy (with DOS or Win9x bootdisk) and use fdisk-command to delete the non-dos partition. Then create the dos-partitions you want, set the primary active, boot again from floppy and format the partitions.

But be aware that Fdisk only deletes Primary NTFS partitions(s)... will NOT delete Extended NTFS areas.

To delete Extended NTFS areas, either do so via NT set-up\create/delete partitions option; or use delpart.exe as suggested above.

can i know from where can i find ntfs for dos utility ( read/write ).

I tried delpart.exe & part.zip to remove this partition to no avail. Each either gives me an error message or locks up.

I booted up using win98 boot disk because this is the only way I can get my system to find my "C" drive (2.1gb SCSI drive)
