I am a professional software developer who would like to utilize Windows NT's STOP error recovery features found in the Control Panel's System applet. My employer would like to test these features thoroughly before activating them on any of our clients' systems (rightly so). In order to do this testing, I need to be able to generate STOP errors (Blue Screens of Death) at will. Any ideas?

I have read your post and let me give you my translation of it as an Administrator!!
Hi I am a teenage user who wants to know how to crash NT machines on my schools network, please help me as I have no clue about anything! *end translation*
If you were a "professional software developer* you would already have access to resource materials. But if you really have no clue...which is a worry if you call yourself professional.....I suggest you load up a machine with NT, don't load any service packs, then down load a nuke program. This will give you your blue screen.....but with the SPs installed it won't work....and I am sure your Administrator is way ahead of you there!

I guess asking questions on a open forum is not a legitimate way gain knowledge from somebody who is obviously a tape glasses book worming nerd who has nothing better to do but berate people trying to gain knowledge. If they are a teenager learning or a professional trying to finish the project the internet and it resources are invaluable to gain knowledge. I unfortunately do not know the answer and hope you find it. As for the first responder, get a life.

Actually if you will note, I did answer his question as to how to generate a stop error, just on a virgin system and not a SP'd machine. As for my not helping people, examples of that are found through out this site.
But giving people advice as how to crash/hack/or general cause headaches for Sys Admins I will not indulge!
