What i'm really looking for is utilities or unattended upgrades to use.
I have upgraded befor by installing NT to a seperate directory and dual booting.
But if I wanted to Upgrade 20 - 40 Win 3.1 machines it would be handy for a automated process.

I think you should check out some cloning/imaging software. I recommend IC3 from MicroHouse. www.imagecast.com

You cannot upgrade from win 3.1 to win NT. the option you have to install NT in a separate directory and you will have a dual boot between 3.1 and NT. You can use unattended installation or use a server based installaion and that is handy.

Assuming you have a network connection ? Create a distribution server and place the NT4.0 sources in a shared directory. Create an unattend text file with an Uniqness dataBase file to perform an unattended simultane upgrade on all your machines. Bij placing the NT in yout w3.11 directory all the desktopsettings will be preserved. Good Luck Peter
