Hello,

I am trying find a way to run a program as a service so that users on my network cannot shut them down. People seem to have the tendancy at random. Any help would be appreciated.

Try SRVANY.exe from windows resource kit.
Couldn't find the description but this should get U going:

The first reply of using SRVANY.EXE is a good method if you only have the program for use and did not develop the program.
If you have the source code for the program
I suggest making it a service.
We use a software development product named SVCom, it is located at the url: www.aldyn.ru
The information at the web site may help you decide if you want to purchase the component
and rewrite the program as a service.
