Comment:

I have a LAN with a NT4 domain server.
I'd like to know, how to hide a computer (server or workstation) on the LAN, so that it doesn't appear in "Network Neighborhood" and in "Windows Explorer".
Thank you.
Jork.

Poledit will have an option to not display workgroup/network. I use that on 98 clients on all my LAN networks.

Peace

put this in the registry of the station you want to hide :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameters]
"Hidden"=dword:00000001
