Appreciate any help. When I boot the 4.0 I recieve an error(which halts the boot)about not loading a mouse driver(lmoufltr). OK, but what do I do now?? I did try LKGC. I haven't tried vga mode, does this do anything outside of video configuration(this computer is at work and its important that I get it up).
I guess I didn't realize that NT didn't have safe mode. I do know how to go about the problem once I get in.

Just to add. The error involves the missing driver for a logitech mouse, namely IMOUFLTR.

I can get the driver I just need to get into the system. I hope something as minor as this doesn't cause a re-install.

Start with connecting a serial mouse.

choose the 2nd choice down for NT which is vga mode. This is NT's safe mode.

Just as a sidebar this is stange that you would be halted on boot up. I have had NT with both mouse and keyboard not hooked up and it still booted.
