i am using winnt 4.0. its working fine. i have installed three hard disks. each harddisk contains some free space. can it possibel to combine all the free space in each disk in to seperate drive.

Yes. It is called a volume set and is done thru disk administrator. Go into disk admin and use help to get the exact procedure. Hold control key down and highlite each free space. On the menu or right mouse click should be the option of creat volume set.

remember now there is no fault tolerance. You will only be as good as your last backup is any one of the 3 disks dies.
