Ghost & NT Server

I ghosted a dual boot machine NT & Server to an image from a 8 gig drive. I then ghosted the image onto a 10 gig drive but kept both partitions the same size. The NT part would boot fine but on booting to server a message saying 'NTOSKRNL.exe is missing or corrupted' appeared. I tried copying the original Ntoskrnl file to the system 32 folder overwriting the corrupt one but the message still appears on boot up and I just can't boot into server. Does anyone have any suggestions Thanks By the way both partitions are FAT 16

This error using occurs when the bootloader can't find the partition that contains the NTLoader file. When partitions are changed, the boot.ini file needs to be updated. It is pointing to the right place for the one but not the other. Try looking at the boot.ini file and see what has changed and fix the partition numbers.

Do you have another drive in the system besides the 10gig?? If so you can boot to the correct drive/partition via the boot.ini but all of your registry entries will be wrong. This is due to the way drive letters are assigned. Server would be on D: but if there is another drive in the system with a primary partition it will be d:. Remove the 2nd drive and see if you boot server correctly.
