Can anyone tell me how I can create user logons for the FTP service on an NT4 workstation.
I have installed the service from Option pack 4 and can connect to it from a DOS prompt from mine and other PCs, but am not able to logon, anonymously or otherwise.
I have administrative privileges on the machine in question and have looked under the FTP site's properties, but the Security Accounts and Directory Security tabs, which look like the prime suspects, do not allow me to change anything aside from allow anonymous/disallow anonymous connections.
I need proper user names/passwords, but even with anonymous access it still appears to require a password.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

U can create one group and put all users that you wanna access the FTP, give right permission on FTP/IIS to group .
