Is there any major problems with formatting a 3rd drive on a server while the server is currently in active use with the 1st drive?? This 3rd drive is used as backup purposes only! Thanks in advance!!

should not be a problem as long as the drive is not being used. if this is 'busy' a file/print server i would wait until lunch time to format because there will be a marginal performance hit.
