I seem to have lost or corrupted the partition table of a 6 gig EIDE drive on an NT workstation formatted NTFS (I think). Three directories are very important. Is there a was to rebuild the partition table? If so, how?

The first thing is to try your Repair Disk.
Hope you keep one!

about partition tables,

Nt crashes all the time, any power glitch
and it s gone,

I got a ups , a must, and now may have
replace power supplies,

in the meantime, I use peter nortons, w95
disk doctor and do a hand job on
the partiton table, something always
modifyed on the fly by w95 or nt. installs.

and I install a secondary nt small image, on d:
or something like it, give s you access
for maintenance or keeps you running if
you app has to work right now, without spending
a week reinstalling everything.
