We are using an FC-AL loop of 27 fibre channel adaptor cards (based on Agilent HPFC-5100 B Tachyon TL) each with an embedded processor (Windows NT 4 OS)for an underwateer data acquisition application. We have a problem of supproting a multiprocessor environment in which each processor assumes the role of a master and each fibre channel controller trying to take charge of the bus and trying to write on a bunch of hard disks storage .
We would welcome suggestions for resolving this problem.
