Using partition magic8 i can convert the file type of my hard drive. my current system is FAT32(so Win98 could read it as well). if i convert to NTFS will i lose any data or HDDspace. Would there be any likely problems?
also, if i connect my computer to another computer running Win98 with just a single Ethernet cable, would this work as a network kind of thing. just port to port with a single cable with Win2000 & 98SE
THANKS

A 2 PC network (with no hub) uses a cross-over cable (cat-5 utp).
