explorer doesn't display file size

Comment:
I just had a new disk installed in my computer, and thus NT had to be reinstalled. Now when I go to Windows NT Explorer and look at directories, it shows the name, type, mod date, and attributes of files in the directory, but not the size. I can't find any way to change this in Options. How can I change Explorer to show file sizes.

Moin Terry, if you set the view to 'details' you should be able to see the file size. MfG, Carl.

sorry, your description shows, that your view is set to 'details', but probably you accidentally changed the column width and the size column is invisible. Move the cursor between 'name' and 'type'and try to click and pull until you see the size, too, like in Excel. MfG, Carl.

Thanks, Carl, that does it. It must have happened when the installer put the new drive in and reinstaller NT.
