I would like to know does login request authenticate through my domain server or going through exchange? It seems like this problem occurs only in the morning when users logging onto their mail acct and couldnt see server. I can ping my exchange but I have to try multiple times in order log on finally. Could anyone tell me whats the best way to resolve this?

exchange uses NT authentication, there's a check box for it mail&fax control panel, exchange server properties. You must be logged into the NT domain to run it. This happens to me when people leave their machine on all night, in the morning, for whatever reason, they are no longer on the network- I tell them to reboot, and shut down when they leave at night. hope this helps...
