Hi

I have a query in regards to Exchange server.
I was wondering if it is possible to redirect an incorrectly addressed email (with correct domain name of course) to a specific email account.

Thanks

furble

A mailbox on Exchange can be configured with secondary address for any of the proxy address types it can receive (MS MAil, Lotus cc:Mail, X-400, SMTP, etc.). A secondary address allows a mailbox to accept mail addressed differently than the primary address. An example: a user has an SMTP address bsmith@whatever.com, they could have secondary SMTP addresses like bobsmith@whatever.com, bobs@whatever.com or anything@whatever.com and Exchange would deliver the mail to their mailbox. Secondary addresses are created in the mailboxes properties, Email addresses page. Select the new option, select the type (SMTP for example) and type in the new address. Say OK and that's it, Exchange will handle the rest...
