I am using Windows NT 4.0 Server and Exchange Server 4.0

Q1. Are there any service packs for this version of exchange server? I think Microsoft would no longer support this.

i have a range of client operating systems on the network, from Windows 3.1 to windows XP.
The Exchange server client CD doesn't support Windows 2000, XP nor NT 3.51.

Surprisingly, the Windows NT 4.0 client works on Windows XP very well indeed - fully functional, but is untried on Windows 2000.

The disappointment is for Windows NT 3.51. When i try to install the NT 4.0 client, it terminates half way through with a DR. Watson error. So i guess i can't use the NT 4.0 client on Windows NT 3.51.

So the big question is, does anyone know where i can get the client for NT 3.51?

If anyone knows where i can get the display adapter driver for this computer, i would be most grateful. Toshiba withdrew all the drivers and driverguide.com doesn't have drivers for NT3.51 - i am not sure they were ever produced.

Well i have to apologise for wasting anyone's time. A friend of mine just popped round and i showed him. He said the problem was caused by attempting to install the program without administrator rights. After doing this, the installation was successful and the program works fine.

If anyone knws where i can get the display apdapter drivers form, then please let me know.

Problem 2 - easier to solve i hope.

I connected a printer, HP Deskjet 850c to the NT 4 server and it didn't have the printer drivers. So i went to HP's website and downloaded it.

The installation went OK, and the printer works fine.

The problem came when i tried to share the printer. I was able to share the printer, but when i tried to select other operating systems, i was not allowed to select anything other than NT 4.0
The error was, the printer driver on this system is unknown. So i couldn't add drivers for win 3.1, or win 85.

So i went onto the network and tried to install the NT 4 sriver on NT 3.51, this didn't work. If i used the setup program then i got dll errora. If i tried to connect to the printer, then it just kept skipping the driver installation after pointing to the installation files and kept returning to the slect printer to connect to.

On the Windows XP machine, when trying to connect to the printer, the error was, the driver you are attempting to install is not compatible with Windows XP. But i am not trying to install the NT 4.0 driver, the server must be doing that when i connect. I thought the XP machine would use its own driver (which it defintely has)

Q1. Does anyone have an NT 3.51 driver?
Q2.How do i get the XP machine to connect to the network printer.
