Hi i have a exchange server which is nearly nakerd so i need to transfer all exchance directorys and contacts to a new server (same os and service packs) which is the quickest and best way to do this.

Your best bet is to post a message in the Exchnage Server forums at: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/newsgroups/default.asp
There is plenty of expertise in matters like this on that forum.

Open exhcange administrator, highlight the boxes you want to move, go to the tools menu and select "Move Mailbox". You will then be asked which server to move them to. Make sure your users are logged out of their mail client first. You will have to set up each client for the new server once completed. Make sure you do a backup just before and just after the move.
