What did you install prior to getting this eventlog error message. If everything is still working on your workstation go to your Service manager and stop and disable the service. (Control Panel - Services ). Also check in your Device manager for any references to this Service. (Control Panel - Devices)

XP DOC, u r the best!!!! i thank u for all the hepl, all of my above prob is gone!! there is one last prob with my sys when i boot i get a message "Cannot fing C:\Program or one of its components, pls check that....."
