Event Log shows the following error messages
OS: Windows NT Work Station
System log
Source: Service Control manager
The Cdralw2k service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified
Source: Serial
Not enough resources were available for the driver.

Security
Handle Closed:
Object Server: Security
Handle ID: 276
Process ID: 2160495008

Any solutions/suggestions?

What did you install prior to getting this eventlog error message. If everything is still working on your workstation go to your Service manager and stop and disable the service. (Control Panel - Services ). Also check in your Device manager for any references to this Service. (Control Panel - Devices)

u r the best!!!!
i thank u for all the hepl, all of my above prob is gone!!
there is one last prob with my sys
when i boot i get a message
"Cannot fing C:\Program or one of its components, pls check that....."
I know i deleated something, but everything is working fine. Where can i got and set it so that the message does not appear whenever i boot?
Pls help
