I hav some files on my NT 4.0 workstation (standalone pc w/ nt 4.0 os) that i want transfered to my laptop w/c runs on Win 95. I got a null cable modem attached to both pc's com ports, but cannot start RAS service in NT, keep getting Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start. pls. help

Do you have the serial cable installed as a modem and configured RAS to use it?
