Does it occur randomly, or when you start a certain application?

I've received a similar "illegal operation, yada, yada, yada, must be shut down" error message when booting my NT system. Any ideas what caused this apparent resource conflict and how to fix it?
Thanks

"TC"-stands for 3Com, "AU" stand for ??auxillary??, and "DIAG" stands for diagnostics.
This is an error with your 3COM ethernet drivers most likely.

Simply re-applying the 3Com drivers will not work. Neither does re-applying SP6a.
I had to completely reinstall the OS.
I suppose you can try a repair, but then you still have to reinstall all your apps.
