Hi,i am a trying to establish a vpn connection between an Nt40 server(sp6a) and a W95 client.when the w95client tries to connect using the VPN dun, it gets error629YOu have been desconnected from the computer you dialed.I checked the ras and modem configuration in the server and they seem to be ok. Also the protocols configuration.Another thing, that is our start point, is that we can ping each other. the win95client can't ping any url...But the server can.
If you have an idea...thank's!!!

Note..i dont know either, what issues do i have to know about our ISP..

I HAVE SEEN THIS ERROR AT MY PREVIOUS JOB. IT COULD BE RELATED TO THE USER NOT MISTYPING HIS/HER ID & PASSWORD, WHEN THEY ARE TRYING TO DIAL-IN. IF NOT, REMOVE THE MODEM, AND REINSTALL THE MODEM TO REDUE THE BINDINGS. ALSO, WHAT I NOTICED IS THAT IF THE CLIENT HAS AOL 5.0 INSTALLED, THIS PREVENTS THE USER FROM DIALING IN.
SO REMOVE AOL 5.0, AOL 4.0 WORKS FINE.
