How to get rid of the Error message 1314 which says : The required priviledge is not held by the client when I try to synchronize the client time with the server. Do I need to change the rights of the client. The server with which I need to synchronize is in CS domain and the one the client logins is in Computing Domain. Both the domain have trusted relationship. So when the user logins with the computing domain its time should syncronize with the CS domain server.

Hope it is not confusing.

Thanks a lot,

Hi,

The 'increase quotas' privilege is missing from the Systems Management Server Client Service account SMS&_machine name and the Systems Management Server Client Token account SMSCliToknAcct&.

Please visit the following link to resolve the error you are facing :

On client PC
1. Login as administrator
2. User Manager
3. Policies
4. User Rights
5. Right - Change the system time
6. Grant to add - add a group that all users belong to eg Domain Users

Hope this helps!
