Comment:

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good email/attachment filters that actually work and do what it is suppose to do, for a reasonable price. I am having trouble getting rid of .exe, .pif's, etc. attachments from my network any suggestions?
Thanks

I found Trend Micro ScanMail for Exchange & EManager excellent products have been using them for a couple of years.

You can even download a 30day trial version

www.trendmicro.com

Cost is about £350.00 which is a lot better than some other products or if your just connecting PC's you can user the PC-Cillin software for about £29.99

Backup support is also good, I know that I am just plugging this company, but the software actually does a good job.

well we are using post.office email server software on our network we have about twelve users running 98, they are currently using eudora 3.0 and 5.0, we have been getting alot of Klez virus' and email attachments such as .exe and .pif. The filters I have tried do not delete them automatically the user or admin has to go in and manually decide which one to discard and which one to delete
