Make sure you are using Windows NT multi-Prococessor edition. If you are not, remove on of the CPU's and try to install NT. If installation is sucessful Get a copy of NT Resource kit and there is a utility to allow the installation of a second processor. Also just a recomendation. I wouldnt even attempt to install Win NT with less than 128 Megs of RAM.

Dear Click, How did you make the 3 setup disks? My first opinion here is that the setups disks should be remade. Be sure to use the /ox switch.

Dear NT Admin, that resource kit utility , UPTOMP, I think it's called, is Very iffy, should not be used, MS has other ways now. I don't know the new way offhand, check the site.

nt wkst does not support multi processors ... and you must do a new install nor a reinstall in order for NT to ask you if you multi processors...at that time it will look and set it up

I had a single PentiumPro 200 on IBM and NT srv 4.0. Later I added another same CPU but it didn't recognize it. I tried reinstall SP still no luck. Finally I reinstalled NT and everything worked well. Just FYI and good luck.
