Can someone tell me how to dual boot Windows ME & Windows NT 4.0 Workstation? I already have Window ME installed on my computer, and have my HDD on Fat32 (will nt 4 work with this)? Can I use FDISK to partion my HDD or do i have to buy something?
Thanks,
Trey

I know that NT4 will not boot from a fat32 partition but it can read fat32 partitions with a program calld fat32.exe. I have it. To get WinNT4 to also write to an fat32 partition you have to buy a program for $39.
I have tried to find it on a warez site but unsucessfull sorry. If you need more info e-mail me. I have a dualboot for win98 and WinNT but both from a 200Meg fat16 partion since both Operating systems can read that.

no, u don't had to buy anything, one thing you had to do is partion one hdd to two partion and install WinME on first and install NT on second one, and use bootstar to boot, download it at here

about 889k

It's possible to do this, but I wouldn't recomend it if you will have valuable data. The last time I tried it, NT ended up trying to write to my FAT32 partition and corrupted the entire partition. My suggestion is if you REALLY have to put ME & NT wks together, I would use FAT16.
Good Luck.

This deals with '98 as FAT32 but as ME is a 'close cousin' of '98 the info is entirely relevant; the solutions offered will apply to ME.
If none of the solutions is attractive.. come back and perhaps others can be proffered... These would require you to seriously consider an Fdisk or re-configure your HD using PM to establish better conditions...
