Just stumbled upon this site. This question may have already been answered, so please forgive me. I have a 4GB drive that I want to dual boot 95 and NT. I installed NT already, but the 95 install keeps failing. I thought that by installing NT and then 95, 95 would create its own partion. What am I doing wrong. Should I install 95 first? should I create partitions? Please help.

step1 Use the boot disk to boot to dos prompt step2 Type fdisk and then type N for not enlarge the harddrive. That mean you only can creat FAT 16. FAT16 only can installed both operating system. You only can create maximum 2 Giga bytes per drive, but you can created multiple drive. step3 install windows 95 first, then install window NT.

There are a few ways out of this, but I find this works well.
Make a boot diskette for dos, including your cd rom drivers. Load windows9x....You should now be able to boot into 9x only...don't worry you haven't lost NT..
Now I know this sounds odd, but start an install of NT again, except pick repair.....make sure the x is cross in inspect boot sector....after the repair finishes, you now have the 3rd option of booting to 9x.
I wish you very good luck.....but I assure you, no third party software is needed!
