When I run wordprogram (Office2000 installed in NT OS)some time Dr.Watson exception through.Word file does not open directly. How can I solve it. I reinstalled whole office 2000 premium and also Win NT SP6a. Still the problem presists. I know that reinstallation of NT and Office will solve my problem. But I need some troubleshooting help so that whenever I come across these kind of problems I can do the troubleshooting.

Sometimes I have seen the normal.dot get corrupted and cause the problem your experiencing. Close all instances of word. Search for the normal.dot file. May be more than one. Send to recycle bin. Open and close word. Save if prompted. Word will recreate the template file.

We migrated from windows 95 to windows 2000. We have microsoft word 97. In word users keep getting the winword.exe error messages when trying to print documents, save documents, delete text..Mostly when printing... We are running out of answers..We swapped out pc's, reinstalled microsoft word...and all office products. We changed the templates both startup and Normal...We do have a document conversion software program called Imanage but I dont think that is why we are getting these new error messages....Please Help any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
