Dr. Watson Errors

I'm having a heck of a time with all sorts of Dr. Watson Errors. The one I'm concerned about at the moment is one when I try to install SQL Server 7.0 I get an access violation (0xc0000005), address 0x0043c48b. It always happens in the same spot on the installation. It also happens when I run Live Update from Norton Anti virus among other applications. Any Ideas?

I figured out what it was! I had an Octek motherboard with a screwy chipset in it. For some reason it wouldn't let Windows install right. I ran the repair for WinNT and came up with a ton of files that had been changed or modified. Then I ran it again and the same thing happened. I reinstalled NT and it still found a ton of errors on the repair. I switched everything to a different motherboard and everything worked peachy!
