The first thing to do is install the service pack for the correct version of Office that is installed or the verison of Outlook. I'm assuming you have office installed. If that does not work, then install the latest service pack for NT.

I have one user who gets this error no matter what version of outlook (98 or 2000) I load. He is the only one that gets this error, all the other users have never had a problem. I have loaded the correct service packs for office, outlook, and windows NT but he still gets the same Dr Watson Error when he is in Outlook. He has even had 3 different computers running Windows NT. I have even loaded and uninstalled software. It seems no matter what I try or do, he gets the error. It says
DR Watson for Windows NT
An application error has occured and an application error log is being generated.
Outlook.exe
Exception: access violation (0xc0000005), Address: (different addresses show up)

Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem with Thomas Maher. The user logon to a different system and still get Dr. Watson message. I was ready to give to her another PC but somehow she has no problem with Outlook for last three days on her old system. I applied all the service packs: office 97 SR2 and NT sp6a. I thought I share with all of you.

I forgot to mention I have deleted and recreated the user profile on NT workstation also so you might try that.

I've seen this problem also. It seems to work if you don't load a large archive or, if loading a large archive, changing the color settings from 65K or greater to 256 colors. Hope this helps...
