I miss the 32 bit era. On my first Computer from 1996-97, currently at 133MHz, a 6.7GB Hard Drive, and 16MB RAM, has had Windows 95, but I've formatted my hard drive 5 times, due to Linux. I now have Windows 3.1, which is the baddest part of the computer in my current life. I don't run current software. Anyway, I've now got a PC that was made from 1998-99, currently at 64MB RAM, the same hard drive as my first computer and Windows 98, using IE4, the EVIL browser in the world! I'm gonna update my IE4 to IE5, by using one of my CDs!! I'll be lucky to use the 32 bit era PC! Most software is now under the 32 bit era. Internet cannot be run while using Windows 3.0. My CD-ROM drive is slow on my first computer, just 'cause it was the world's first CD-ROM drive, to be first used on Windows 3.0. The 2x CD-ROM, obsolete since 1997, has made Video CDs not run. My new PC will have a 32x or 40x CD-ROM drive, which is good quality on Video CDs. The BASIC part, on running Video CDs is a 32x CD-ROM Drive. I CANNOT run DVDs by using Windows 3.1, but it might run on Windows NT 3.5, which looks common to Windows 3.1. You CAN run Internet on Windows 3.1, while only using AOL 3.0 or lower. Windows NT 3.5 seems to be more common on current software.
