I've install window NT4 on my system but my monitor display only 16 colour.What should I do get 256 colour,because win I installed win98 there was no problem with the display.

As for the Monitor device driver, there's a guy (gal) in finland that has a whole library of VGA/SVGA drivers available for download on his website. Check out:

If what you need isn't there, I suggest you tell us the manufacturer's name on your video card. Generic video drivers often are just barely adequate. The best that a device can deliver comes from a driver which is designed specifically and exclusively for use with one hardware device.

Also, if all this is over your head, and you don't understand what a device driver is, it's best you say so. You won't get any sympathy or help by pretending to undertand something when you don't have a clue.

i have luckytech's (p5mvp4)sound and video on board chip or card whatever you may call.i don't have the drivers for that and i tried to find it but all my efforts went in vain so i couldn't solve the display problem of my computer and so it is now having the display of 16 colours .so please advice what to do .
