I have been trying to disconnect the msn messenger service. It won't let me either log in or out but the icon still appears. Is there some other way to get rid of it?

Are you trying to uninstall it?

If so, then just use the uninstall shield from the add/remove programs in the control panel.

Mail me if you have further problems
