How to disable telnet (23) and ftp (20,21) ports in NT?

WinNT doe snot come with an in built port blocker.

If, however, you want to prevent *outgoing* connections edit the services file under c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc to remove the FTP and Telnet designations.

WinNT does have configurable firewall (allowing you control over ports).

Go into network properties tcp/ip properties - advanced ip addressing - tcp/ip security... choose your ports.
