I have tried to install DirectX 8a on my Windows NT 4 but it refuse to install.
Can anyone help me, what is the latest DirectX that can be installed on Windows NT 4 ? And where can I download it ?

DirectX as a rule cannot be installed on Windows NT 4.0 unless it is included as a service pack. The last service pack for NT 4.0 is Service Pack 6.0a and it includes DirectX 5.xx for NT.

I have to say, DirectX 6.
Please, visit the directx home page
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.asp
and find your download there.
The latest version for NT4 is DirectX 6.
