Hi,
I have a problem with my Windows NT 4.0 server. It started after i installed BDC on domain. First the dhcp server gave on Active Leases window an BAD ADDRESS on few IPs. Then when i tried to connect another
new PC on network and it failed. After hours of search i found that the DHCP database seems to be locked or something. It gives lease to PC that has been on network
before but it wont let me to change network names and I cant connect new PCs. Everytime I try it give "The DHCP server issued NACK to the client ( .....) for the address
(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) request". I also searched ms knowledge base but the best thing they offered was to install latest
service pack (witch i already have).
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Reinstall DHCP and recreate the scope. Hopefully this will fix your database problem.

Before you do that you could also try to reconcile the scopes, but I think the reinstalling the service will fix it.
