I am running windows NT Server 4.0 with SP6 Clients running NT4.0 SP6 TCP/IP NETBui and the workstation fail to get an ip address from the server. DHCP failied to obtain a lease for the card with network address 0080c84dcd5d. The following error occurred: The semaphore timeout has expiered. How do I resolve this please

If it's just one workstation that can't get an IP then I would suspect a network setting or a bad NIC.

if you are running a tcp/ip net work dhcp server and wins etc ,

Why are you using netbeui
