Desktop Icons

I have 24 machines hooked to an NT network, I added 2 machines and they will not read the office icons in the DESK directory on the server. These icons on the 2 new machines show up as DOS type icons and will not respond to a mouse click on the 2 new workstations. The other 24 read the icons and work fine. If I copy the icons from the 2 new machines into the desk directory then they will show up and work fine on those 2 machines, however the 24 machines become DOS icons and do not work. I told the 2 new machines to read from a desk2 directory (in the policies) and it works. But why doesn't it work the other way? Anyone ever seen this? Scott
