when i re-start my machine and logon to NT workstation i have an extra copy of NT workstation (so i have got 4 options to choose from to logon instead of two). I want to know how do i delete the extra copy - even though this copy doesnt let me log on to NT

Modify c:\boot.ini to take the added entries out.

You can also change the names in the boot.ini to add some fun to your day - I used to tick people off by modifying their boot.ini to give them a reminder of how much of a jerk they were, etc...
