Defrag NT 4 SERVER with Norton?

Want to defrag NTFS files on NT Server disk. Got Norton Utilities 2.0 for NT which says it works on Server & Workstation. A check of Symantec site says it is not compatible with NT Server, but does not say what the problem is. Any suggestions on defragmenting NTFS files on Server?

Hi, I did it some time ago. There was no problem, since I started the defragmentation on friday evening. No traffic on weekends. It took 15 hours on defragging 16 GB. There was little space left, eg. 1.5 GB Well I don't know if the tool coming with Norton Utilities is the same as mine, since I purchased it seperately: Norton Speed Disk 5.0 build 180 cheers

Diskeeper 6! The best out there, it's built into 2000 now. (A piece of it anyway)
