Comment:
I have a 16 bit Sound Blaster AWE64 card which has always worked with Win 98. Now I installed Win XP. The SB card works fine, but when I try to install the Creative software (Wave Studio & Creative Mixer) the install fails with the message "Setup has detected that Windows NT audio drivers are not installed." It says I need to install PNPISA.SYS, buy apparently this is not an XP file. Any suggestions?

At soundblaster.com, it says
Drivers/Firmware/Applications Sorry, no Creative updates are available for Sound Blaster AWE64.
I have a feeling the problem is just the install program. The card and all thre drivers seem to work fine, the install program just isn't smart enough to know that and refuses to install Wave Studio.
